DVDs
These DVDs contain traditional Okinawan Shorin Ryu empty hand kata and bunkai, Kobudo kata of bo and sai, and kumite as taught by 10th degree Grandmaster Eizo Shimabukuro. They are performed by Grandmaster Eizo Shimabukuro in 1999 when he was 74 years old. There are 5 differend DVDs with the specific kata and bunkai they contain listed below. There is also a 2 disk compilation set that includes all of the kata, bunkai, Kobudo and kumite of the 5 individual disks.
 
The DVD of Toyei no Jujutsu contains a cross section of the over 400 jujutsu techniques (empty hand and weapons) of Grandmaster Eizo Shimabukuro. Grandmaster Shimabukuro demonstrated these techniques when he was in the United States in 2008 to visit his dojo and to celebrate his 60th year of teaching. Grandmaster Shimabukuro was 83 years old at the time and has proven the longevity that a lifelong commitment to Shorin Ryu can provide and is an inspiration to generations going forward.

Book
Grandmaster Eizo Shimabukuro’s book, “Old Grandmaster Stories” has been republished in English with the original Japanese version. This book contains his stories that have become legendary and others that have never been published before.
